Over the past seven years, I have worked as a journalist for Iranian national TV, an English and French teacher, an IELTS mock examiner for language academies, and as a freelance web developer, creating websites and various applications. Recently, I have also begun teaching cinema and art courses at universities and art schools. These roles reflect my diverse interests, and as a permanent resident of Canada, I am open to opportunities in any of these fields or related areas.

Kiarostami Film Festival
I developed and led the IT team for the International Kiarostami Film Festival website. This site includes a back-office panel designed for journalists to publish news and media, as well as for directors to select and manage film submissions.

IELTS Examiner Helper
I developed a web-based application for an IELTS language center that enables mock writing examiners to leave comments on candidates' mock tests. This application reduces the time spent on commenting by nearly half and significantly enhances their efficiency.
Tilda College
I created a comprehensive website for my language academy using Django, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, supporting staff operations like registration and accounting, and student activities including exercises and tests. This project prompted me to begin learning React to enhance my front-end development skills.
Parsa Resin
I built a simple website for a company that wholesales and retails resin and fiberglass products. Initially planned as a more complex project, the employer later decided to maintain its basic form.

Personal Website Theme
Originally, I developed my personal website using HTML and CSS, inspired by Christina Truong's CSS course on LinkedIn. To simplify content editing, I integrated jQuery, creating a theme-like functionality. Content updates were managed through Django's sqlite3 database, utilizing Django templates. However, my current website (kavehjahangiri.com) is built using Next.js.
